HMP & YOI Stirling is Scotland’s national prison for remand and convicted young and adult women, with capacity for 117 and a separate Mother and Baby Unit, admitting individuals directly from court.

Opened in 2022, the Lilias Centre in Glasgow houses up to 24 low-supervision women and young people in trauma-informed, gender-specific shared housing focused on developing independent living skills.
